For stores
Campus Scenes is a campus-only app - every account is behind a verified university email. The Market tab is where shops near campus put a student price, and students find it without hunting through a WhatsApp group.
Students who are provably students. The reason a student price works is that only students see it. Every account here is verified by university email, so your margin is not going to somebody's cousin who found a code on Reddit.
One campus, not a city. Your offer shows to students at the university you are near. That is the whole product - a coffee deal is worth something at four minutes' walk and nothing at forty.
A page you control. You get a link that signs you straight in - no password - where you add offers, change a price, or mark something sold out. You do not have to phone anyone to change a number.
This is worth being plain about, because most platforms that reach you want a percentage. We do not take a cut of anything you sell.
A student either shows their verified screen at your counter and pays you the way they always would, or - in India - pays you directly from their own UPI app, bank to bank. Either way the money goes from them to you. It never passes through us, so there is nothing for us to take, nothing to wait for, and no settlement date.
That also means no chargebacks routed through a third party, and no support queue between you and your own customer.
There is no signup form on this page, on purpose. Every shop is added by the campus team at that university, who check that the offer is real and that you actually agreed to it. It is slower than a form, and it is why students trust what is on the board.
So: talk to the campus team at the university near you, or email stores@campusscenes.com and we will put you in touch. They will add your shop and send you a link.
Open the link they email you and it signs you in - the address is the credential, so there is no password to forget or to share with staff. From there you write an offer, and it goes up once the campus team has read it. Usually a day or two.
You can end an offer, mark it sold out, or put it back, whenever you like. Nothing is locked in and there is no notice period.
Offers have to be real and available on the terms you wrote. An inflated "usual price" to make a discount look bigger will get the offer taken down - the saving is the only number students are reading, and it has to be true or the whole board is worth nothing to any of us.
Full terms are in the terms of use. Questions: stores@campusscenes.com.
